Jérôme Sans chose to donate his private collection of 3000 books to the FRAC Pays de la Loire.
Jérôme Sans, artistic director, director of contemporary art institutions, art critic, and exhibition curator, chose to donate his collection of nearly 3000 books to the FRAC Pays de la Loire. This donation aims to complement, enrich, and update the Frac’s library holdings, while more broadly contributing to the sharing of art and art history publications, including rare and limited editions, and to their public accessibility and use for research. This collection is currently undergoing an inventory process.
As the various books are gradually integrated, the FRAC Pays de la Loire aims to highlight the singularity of these new acquisitions. To this end, a page on the Frac’s website will be dedicated each month to the presentation of a selected book. Conceived as visual reading notes, these features will showcase the richness and diversity of publications devoted to contemporary art.
