Lille3000 welcomed at the Gare Saint Sauveur four monumental installations by Chinese artists Sun Yuan & Peng Yu with the exhibition "Le coup du Fantôme". The provocative works of Sun Yuan & Peng Yu take as their subject the most complex issues of our contemporary time.
They are among the most controversial artists in China, employing a poignant and disturbing hyperrealism. Their installations offer a vision of the human condition in the modern world, challenging our beliefs and pointing out our buried fears in order to better expose them. It is with a dark humor that they intensely explore life and death in strange, destabilizing situations. Another disorder, to better overcome it.
