It's not only Rock 'n' Roll, Baby! rassemble pour la première fois un ensemble d'œuvres majeures de musiciens rock des années 1970 à nos jours (de Yoko Ono, Patti Smith, Brian Eno à Chicks on Speed, Fischerspooner, Devendra Banhart, Pete Doherty, etc.). Cette exposition, encore électrisée par une collaboration exceptionnelle avec le festival de Rock Werchter, révèle pour la première fois une autre histoire du rock, celles de musiciens, d'artistes nés dans le monde de l'art. Une vingtaine d'icônes de la musique sont réunies ensemble pour la première fois, non pas pour un concert mais pour présenter leurs œuvres visuelles. Il ne s'agit pas d'un mouvement mais d'artistes qui ont chacun une démarche singulière et qui abordent l'art et la musique comme un corps commun, une unité de pensée ; des artistes qui montrent comment deux formes d'expression, pourtant différentes, sont indissociables. It's not only Rock 'n' Roll, Baby! ou comment la voix du rock est aussi née dans les arts visuels.
